About Castaway Restaurant

Castaways are a family run business that formed in the summer of 2007. Our customers have had the chance to experience great entertainment; and enjoy quality traditional fish and chips all in one enjoyable evening for people of all ages.

Our dedicated team of experienced chefs strive to produce an excellent standard of food that we are very proud of. All ingredients are purchased fresh from the market giving customers a contemporary, distinctive and yet traditional taste.

Castaways began life as a traditional fish and chip restaurant but after a successful Elvis tribute night, entertainment became an important part of the Castaways experience. Over the past two years we have welcomed hundreds of professional entertainers through our doors that have all been enjoyed by our customers.

Since the opening of Castaway the impetus of entertainment has moved significantly onwards. We have been privileged to host such celebrated artists such as Chas & Dave, Jimmy Jones, Ray Lewis and his Drifters Show, Roger De Courcey & Nookie Bear, Jimmy Cricket and many other talented acts.

With a hand painted venue and a capacity of 280 people; Castaways is the perfect venue for great entertainment varying from tribute shows, cabaret evenings, variety acts, ladies nights, live bands, comedy nights and much more. Although Castaways provides a high standard of entertainment it still focuses on providing top quality food at amazing value.

Whether it be a night out with loved ones or a catch up with friends or the perfect celebration no party is too big or too small at Castaways.
