Castaway is not what you might expect. The service is fantastic, the food is great and the setting is fun, but sophisticated.

We are a Premier Entertainment Restaurant located in Pitsea Essex. 280 seated Venue with a varied menu offering a mixture of Live entertainment through out the week.

We are a family run business formed in the summer of 2007 with a commitment to providing our customers with great food and great entertainment at great value. Our hard working team strive to ensure that all of our customers leave our restaurant satisfied with the Castaways experience.

We have a dedicated team of chefs preparing food to a standard of excellence that we are extremely proud of. All of our ingredients are purchased fresh from the market giving our meals a distinctive taste.

We specialise in traditional fish and chips serving cod, haddock, skate, rock and plaice in beer batter. But we are more than just a fish and chip shop. We have an extensive menu that covers all food tastes and requirements. We serve grilled fish and meats, pasta dishes, gourmet salads and a selection of vegetarian options.

We are not just an evening venue either. We have a delicious new daytime lite bite menu that means you can pop in and just have a gourmet sandwich or a homemade cake. Children are also welcome any time of the day and we have a junior pirates menu for the under 11’s.
